WIP: Many things to work on!

Hello! Weekly WIP, starting a new one - again! Well, two, actually.

I already mentioned briefly the GMV idea haunting my mind since Heartache came out, and it didn't stop. So I've been working little by little on it in parallel with something else. And now I have a timeline!

You can see the song in the audio part. Then, V1 so far is dedicated to backgrounds, V2/V3 for animation sequences, V5 for references/temporary clips (for now), V8 for lyrics, and V7 for notes to myself, so I remember what I'm planning for each part of the song! Like this:

So basically I know now what I want to have included in every part of the song. I'm trying to be a organized this time...let's see how long that's going to last. Oh and also, there's a lot of markers in the timeline in certain parts, and I'm using it to define each cut by the beat of the song.

What I did the most was that little chunk of purple there! Blocked, posed scenes... 👀 I got really hyped with this idea again one day I had some free time, and then decided to define one of the key moments that I really want to make real. So at least, if I ever decide to not make the whole thing, I'll have smaller parts that could be shared separately.

I'm probably going to try blocking some chunks of it little by little, and animate them if I feel like it when there's some free time.

She's so pretty. I think that Dragoon glam really suits her. You know, I don't really get to animate the serious Warrior of Light image I imagine for her because my videos are about G'raha...so she is always smiling in them! He is the only one she smiles like that to. Sometimes with some of the Scions.

I also had to get the rig done for the Exarch and Shadowbringers-Lizard, since last time I used her was pre-Dawntrail, and I never had an Exarch rig to begin with!

But since this project is going to be... overwhelming... I decided to pick another light, shorter one to make as the main one so I don't get burned out, and I'm going to try to prioritize that. So something like the Triple Triad one.

...which I also had to make new rigs for! Winter Lizard and Winter (updated) G'raha - with the scarf, of course. She wouldn't let him leave without the scarf.

I'm actually really happy with that pose right now!

Hopefully I get free time to work on it smoothly.

I also have to release the Patreon videos I've been promised and, not gonna lie, I'm struggling. I re-recorded again the wet shirt of how I made it, and I'm not super happy with it. I think I'm going to share it this weekend anyway, more so as a curiosity on how I made it than a proper tutorial because I don't think it's really that good in that sense - even if what I'm doing is not really anything complicated or hard to understand, I think I'm kinda bad at explaining it? So that's why I've been delaying it again. I hope it's okay... but it will be shared soon, I promise! :')

I also plan on putting together the usual Behind the Scenes on the Triple Triad video, which usually comes out much more smoothly, since I know already know what I want to show!

So now I have lots of fun stuff to work on! ...and also Cosmic Exploration is getting released this week so I might also use some free time to check that out. I no-lifed Ishgardian Restoration back in Shadowbringers, so I'm tempted to do that for a day or two. I got all of my crafting Lodestar tools to show off in it!
