WIP, Life Update and new Live Wallpaper

Hello! I'm late...and sick. But I finally started recovering! :')

I'm sorry, didn't say anything earlier so this doesn't just become my personal blog without any project updates, but it's been so long since I was able to actually make a patreon video and I'm feeling really guilty about it.

I was hopeful that I'd get a lot done this week because I had finished the video I'm going to post this week earlier, instead I could barely function as a human being. So now I'm late with not only the things I wanted to do for here, but with the work I had to do and I also wasn't able to start working on the ideas for the next project. It was basically an entirely wasted week.

I was able to play FFXIV and the new patch though! It didn't ask much of me and I could rest between cutscenes - but I'm really sorry for the party that had to go with me through the trial...maybe I shouldn't have queued as a healer. Good thing is, I feel more motivated to play the game again, and having a new raid tier will have me logging in weekly to play with my static too, so you might see me online more often! If you're on NA, I'd love to meet and add you. I mostly play on Primal/Behemoth. :)

Since I woke up feeling a little better yesterday, I got a few things done. First, I settled on the next video I'm working on! It's going to be a shorter one to raise awareness on a very important issue: did you know there are no G'raha Tia Triple Triad cards?! Square Enix won't add them in, so Lizard will have to do something about it herself. I had the idea when the new photo/instax emote came out...

I just started blocking the audio and the timing of the shots, and it's probably going to be around 30 seconds long.

I just posed the characters without the props I need to rig though, because Textools was on fire until yesterday. I checked and they released an update that finally fixed everything post-patch, so if you were having trouble with it during the week, it's working now!

I also decided I'm going to try working in parallel with the MV idea I mentioned before, because I'm really hyped about it...though it's probably going to take months, maybe even a year, because I won't be prioritizing it as a main thing - and if anything, this week was probably a sign that I can't really handle too much at once. I honestly don't know if it might actually happen, but I will do my best so it does! It's going to show G'raha's time as the Exarch before being able to summon the WoL to the First. The song is Heartache by Uchida Yuma (meaning it's G'raha singing!). Here are the translated lyrics. I wonder if you can see the wolgraha in there too? <3

And lastly, because I really liked Sundae's idea last project of the live wallpaper, I decided to make one for my favorite shot of this video, too!

I did them with the exact same screen size as the previous one, so I hope it works! If you need any adjustments or different sizes, let me know and I can work on it. I liked doing them, so if there's anything like this you wish to see next, let me know!

As for the videos I'm going to work on for here as soon as I'm able, I plan on showing how to get the wet shirt effect on G'raha's shirt (and why it didn't work on Thancred, but with a few examples I found out that do work better!), and the behind the scenes of the new video. I won't be starting on it today because my voice is still not working and I'm still coughing horrendously, but I'm hopeful that by wednesday it will be better...

Oh, and on Tuesday I will be back with a public post on the new video. I'm really excited to share it!
