WIP: Mahjong, and the Holidays

Hello! Weekly update, on the project and some of my plans!

I'm slowly working on the Mahjong video. Got to plan most of the scenes from the second part, and have seconds basically done and animated! :D

I've been learning more about mahjong as well, playing it a little more and doing my research, as well as getting help from a mahjong enthusiast friend, and I could include a few things that hopefully mahjong players would enjoy seeing.

Like this winning hand from Estinien. It's the "Big Three Dragons" :P

At the same time, I'm trying to be careful to keep everything understandable without knowing any mahjong rules. I hope I can get that balance right! Well, the whole point is that Lizard is bad at mahjong and probably doesn't get what's happening either, so I think that's okay so far.

Contrary to my last project, I kinda gave up on organizing the timeline, though. There's a bunch of visual and effects stacked all over, and since I'm still changing stuff and dragging them around, no organizing them in nests yet! It's already getting longer, too, and that's only the first part (half? Maybe a little more?)

Speaking of sound effects, I also played a little more ingame not only with G'raha to record his lines, but with the other Scions in this video...all of the lines are so good! I've been translating the JP ones for the video. I found a bunch of compilations of the EN lines, but not the JP ones! So if anyone's interested in seeing all of the ones that I got, I can try organizing them in a video and sharing it here. The ones I use in the final video will be there, translated and animated as well :)

Because we're near holiday season, christmas next week, and then New Year's, I'm starting to get a little less time to work on this thanks to IRL family stuff and holiday things going on. Which is all good things! But also, well, delaying the videos a little bit. I hope it's okay.

I'm also late a Patreon video as well, which sometimes take even longer than animating a scene from my video...and sometimes I don't want to release it if I don't think it's good enough so I ended up discarding last week's one. Sorry for the delay!

I am planning on making an updated "Where to Begin" video, since the one I did here before is outdated now. I think I can make a easier to understand, better one, so I'm working on that. Hopefully it won't take too long! If there's anything you wish to know that I can include there, let me know. I might be unable to make them weekly as I used to for a while, but I think after the New Year's I can try to put things back on track again.
