I'm glad you agree! I got a couple of comments saying that the correlation between gay conversion therapy and Enid's story didn't make sense because she wants to be a wolf, but I viewed it as possibly a correlation of (if we're using the theory) Enid wanting to be straight to make her mother happy and when she can't she gets upset but then eventually learns to accept herself by the end and doesn't follow what her mother tells her she needs to be. Could also just be a coincidence too lol. I saw people didn't like her portrayal of Morticia but I think she's doing an amazing job!
2022-12-20 06:47:11 +0000 UTCI think there is absolutely a correlation between Enid’s story and gay conversion therapy; I never doubted it for a second. And yes, kudos to them for tackling this subject matter. I love how understated Catherine Zeta-Jones’ portrayal of Morticia is, and how subtle some of the humor is in this show. It’s interesting that Eugene on the show and Jackson on “Sex Education” both have two mothers - it’s one of the few things the characters have in common with each other.
