this is the 5th time this tablet has restarted out of the blue and corrupted files, I'm actually gonna start saving up for another tablet because of this bs.
so the tablet i have is the Surface pro 2, and lately it'll just up and restart out of the blue. Its NOT overheating, its NOT updating
its just restarting
and worst thing is its corrupting files that I have open in CSP (clip studio paint) at the time.
this time around had 7 files open, two commissions, one patreon picture, and four pics I was doing myself that were going to be posted here too
after reopening CSP it turns out my csp program only had three files recovered (initial recovery so like 90% of the progress on those were gone)
Other than that a total of 7 files were open
1 was intact, 3 files corrupted but recovered with 90% progress loss, and 3 lost progress and saved files corrupted
I lost one personal picture, one sketch wip commission, one sketch wip patreon picture, one commission was intact because it was an old already finished one, i was using it as a reference at one point. the ones I lost were corrupted
I would go to the file try to open it and it would either give me an error of the file being corrupted or broken, or it would go to csp and just give me a "this file type is not supported" error in other words, also corrupted.
three other personal pictures I found in the initial recovery folder, i checked all three recovery folders and these three pics were the only ones that had an initial recovery file. the actual saved files for them were corrupted however. but the recovery files being initial ones meant that 90% of the work done on them were gone.
so yeah something is wrong with this tablet, Im not sure what but in the meantime I wont stop working on stuff. I still have patreon duties and commission duties, it just means I need to restart them again.
