Models for the Next Comic!

Here are my final models for our new cast! From left to right: Tragia the weasel, Skids the cat, and Brooks the finch. These are actually extremely old characters of mine so I had to update their designs quite a bit to fit how I draw now, but they're actually closer to my original visions of them now (for instance, I always wanted Brooks to be chubby, but I used to really suck at drawing body fat). Aaaand I gave Skids abs just because I've never done a comic with like a lean/muscular character before, it was always either musclegut or bodybuilder, so I thought I might as well try it! I don't think anybody is gonna complain that I gave somebody abs.

And of course they'll have dicks in the comic, but I keep them dickless for their models because it helps to be able to see where the crotches flow into the curves of their butts. I still need to make a bunch of head studies but I'm gonna do the first page and the cover with just these and my older drawings as refs because I really want to get started this week. I did all of Rise of Chet with even less detailed models than these so it should be fine for just one page.

The current plan is to launch this weekend! I may post on Sunday rather than Saturday and use the extra day for the cover page. I'll let you guys know which day it'll be as we get closer to the weekend but Sunday is probably the safer assumption for now. I do have the first page paneled already, tho, so progress is happening.
