Just a few updates;

Game Over

Game Over, everyone~! Thank you all very much for participating in this fantastical two week sale (I know it was technically 1 week but I had a sale previously that wasn't even a few days off so -- 2 weeks, leave me be!). I managed to reached a very fantastical goal that really helped out in a perilous situation, and as much as I'd like to say my talents was what granted me the ability to get as far as I was able to, the brunt of the thanks in truth should be handed off to all of you. If it wasn't for you, I have earnestly no idea what I'd do. From the deepest portions of my being, I appreciate you all, those who had the means and those who didn't. I really want to do something very special for you, all of you, but my schedule is very thoroughly booked right now. But it's in the works. Believe you me (and this is more than what I had promised beforehand as well). With that being said;

Scheduling

I've taken on a truly irresponsible amount of commissions as of the last week or so. My bad~ Though I'm very much honest about this as well -- this past sale wasn't only just to fulfill and impossible dream and Save the World, but I'm also experimenting with much higher work loads and different models of bringing content to you, my most beloved fans. Some of you already know this, but as of the last two weeks I've actually thoroughly upscaled my workload from 8 hours a day to something closer to about 16 hours a day. Which is just fine. I'm spending a lot more time trying to not only grant everyone work, but making sure that work is gorgeous and very good (or as close to either of those things as I possibly can). Though more than an hourly rate, I'm also aiming to get to at least 4 different people each day. I don't always reach these goals, admittedly, but I'm trying my very hardest, especially now.

Just know that it might take a little while for me to get to each of you sometimes, but I'm working very hard to get into the rhythm and discipline myself. As of right now I'm actually balancing between 14 different commissioners, and getting to at least 4 of you each day~ Of course, that also also means that, without a shadow of a doubt (especially with the Game Over everyone's just experienced)

At least for the foreseeable future. Which is super fine, I hope. Builds anticipation? Although, speaking of Sales, Commissions, Game Overs, and other stuff.

Final Sale II

Coming August, 2018. Like the Final Fantasy of yore, that was able to achieve the impossible and made its lasting mark going on to create an increasing number of sequels, this sale is definitely going to happen again! Expect more fantastical good deals in the future, once every last slot has been cleared and commissions are finally open again. But it will happen again, and I hope folks are hype for it!

Payment Changes

So, if you've noticed (depending on if you've dealt with me before), I've started just by default asking for everything that is owed up front rather than after each drawing is completed. I'm doing this largely because, from the people that I've spoken to, I've been told that its actually a lot more convenient this way for them to pay upfront since they can actually schedule and allot for the full sum to be paid and sometimes having to wait around for me to finish each piece screws up their biorhythm royally. I'm still open to structuring payments around your budget however if the need is there, but for the time being I'll be focusing on this and seeing how it goes. I do have very strong fears of doing this myself to be honest, that being that A) I might not be able to satisfy my client even with my best abilities and all payment is revoked or B) The art is done and the customer appears happy, but the customer requests a charge back anyway and the damage is irreparable. I've seen both of these things happen to folks who work off of commissions, and the thought is super scary. But! I try my best to put you all before myself~

Patreon Changes

Due to my prices changing recently, I'm actually upgrading the things that Patrons get at certain tiers. Now instead of a Standard version of their monthly picture, they'll be getting a Colored version instead. It just seems a lot more fair that way since I originally designed these tiers so that folks would be able to also consider it as a "free commission but with a cute little bonus" sort of scenario~

But I'm also interested in getting some more input on my Patreon shenanigans as well, and what would make it feel like a enticing option. I know its kind of vanilla in its structuring and I'm not entirely sure what would make it more appealing for folks. So! I wouldn't mind more input for that as well.

Story Commissions

An idea I've been bouncing around in my head has also been Story Commissions, Commissions for Stories as you might know~ I'm interested in gauging the interest for this sort of thing as well. In my time I'll be posting up a few stories, but if anyone has a request or two, there's a distinct possibility I might take up one of these requests as a trial of sorts. Though, as stated before, my schedule is packed as all heck, so it might be a little while~ <3
