Finally read Seasons by StinglessWasp recently, and I fell so fully and completely in love with how they write Simon - wry, dependable, sardonic, passionate and also just so deeply sad. I think this fic really shows him at his best and worst, and I've just gotta applaud the range in Wasp for not only being such a talented author but also artist. This piece is fanart from a scene in Chapter 5, where Johnny is there for Simon in one of his most vulnerable moments. It's beautiful, and heartbreaking, and this is the second time I've drawn a bathtub for a fic fanart in about as many weeks lmao

(P.S. i hope me constantly making fanart for fics for my illustration posts doesn't come off as derivative. It's my personal way of giving back to fandom creations that move me and thanking their creators, in a fandom that's been a home to me for years now. I'm hoping to do more original illustrations/comics soon but I'll probably only stop making fic fanart when there's no longer material for it.)
