In a post-apocalyptic Japan, two worlds unfold in parallel: One inside a mysterious facility where children live in a controlled, “perfect” environment. The other in the ruined outside world, where monsters roam and survivors struggle. The story follows Kiruko, a tough and capable young woman traveling with a boy named Maru, who is searching for a place called “Heaven.” Their journey reveals secrets about identity, cloning, and the dark side of human experimentation. ⚧ Kiruko's TS (Transgender) Background Kiruko looks like a girl, but her brain actually belongs to a boy named Kiruta (her younger brother). After an accident, Kiruta’s brain was transplanted into his older sister Kiruko’s body to save his life. So, Kiruko = Kiruta’s mind + Kiruko’s (sister’s) body. She now lives as Kiruko, but often reminds others: “I’m not really a girl. I’m a boy inside.”
