Deckbiter Balance Update

Got a much needed deckbiter update out with a few nerfs and a lotta buffs! I think this'll put most of the abusive decks on an even playing ground. Below I'll explain why I've made most of the changes and I've attached all of the changed cards as well.

First up, Luckfoot now boosts health at the end of your turn, and will also trigger if you stole.

Bite Back's earlier nerf was far too restrictive and made the card see little play. This is hopefully a good middleground for such a fun card.

Badass Motherclucker is getting a boost in it's damage sharing ability since most livestock creatures aren't going to be attacking anyway. To keep the stats from being better than Canyon Harpy, I nerfed it's own attack power to match.

Whiskered Witch gets a whole new ability! This punishes decks seeking to gain extra ticks for an advantage. I still want cool crazy combo decks in the game, but before this modification there just weren't any good answers for them.

No Time For Breakfast now can only be played as the first tick of the turn. This card combos with a ham sandwich, and that's not good for a game which literally has porkchops as a card :P

Fatten Up has been discounted to just 1 crop. It originally felt wrong not to have it cost any crop, but the bump to 2 was just too much, even if there's a fantastic pair of tits to synergize with the card.

Dankroot Druid has been nerfed to not synergize with itself QUITE as much. It's still strong, but now doesn't enable a first turn that can't be beat.

Barnyard Blazer has been simplified. Not every card needs to be complicated.

Caravan Carter is now worth 2 meat. It's a damn centaur n' only 4 felt too low.

Young Elf has been changed to 0 attack and 2 health. This better aligns with what the card should be doing, and allows egg decks a better chance by removing all those tiny attackers.

Carrotnappers has been flipped. They now steal after breeding. Rumi(probably the best player of the game), built a goblin carrotnapper deck that won on turn 2. Don't be like Rumi.

And finally, Elderleaf Toker has been cheapened to just 2. I haven't seen it be a problem after reducing it from 4, and I'm curious to see what happens if we drop it down to 2. The wording on the card is a bit silly, but basically it means creatures can't attack the turn they are played or hatched.

Final Thoughts

That's it folks! Like the changes? Hate the changes? Got your own ideas? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. My next update for Deckbiter will hopefully fix the ugly-ass interface. It looks like butt right now and I'm sorry. I aim to get it useable on mobile again, and sexy on desktop.
