The moon is full and the pack is ready to hunt! It's time to release the canine update fully. I'm calling this a beta because even if there is all of the initial content, there's still many kinks to fix and extras needed. The biggest challenge I'm having right now is catching all of the little mentions of the player being human or having incorrect traits. Please report any issues you find! There's still more I want to do for the canine protagonist, but I think the new starting setup is in a good spot to share. This shifts the protagonist from being an outsider to being someone who grew up within the world. If only you didn't live in such interesting times...

Overall I'm very pleased with the canine update. There's lots of great new systems that'll make it easier to add more racial features and to expand on the ones already here. Knots and fur were the two big focuses of my current writing, but there's just so much canvas to explore that I'll likely never stop writing more canine content as I expand on the game. After giving this current build a try, please share any feedback of what you'd like to see next!

With the Canine Update officially reaching beta, I'll be taking feedback on what the next big update should be. We've only got two more castle regions to add to the map until dragons are on the table, so maybe we'll rush towards more progression of the core content, or maybe we'll take another unique tangent.

On other gamedev news, I've got little to report unfortunately. Art is still trickling in for Deckbiter, including Vargen's leader artwork(below), but beyond that I haven't spent any time on the game last month. I've got a few other things I'm tinkering on just for fun/learning, but nothing worth revealing at the moment.
