Summer is over and the mandatory overtime is finished. I'm now fully committed to getting the canine update out next and I'm burning through a ton of vacation time to make sure it happens. I appreciate everyone's patience with the summer slowdown, but until I leave the dayjob, the seasonal overtime will continue.

In positive news, I did get quite a bit of fun writing done! Pregnancy has been expanded to almost all races, and now involves your allies laying eggs and some other unique scenes during birth. There's no sexual content with this new update, but I did try making these scenes fit within the world and add more emotional depth to the characters. As a dude who hasn't ever given birth, I've surely fallen short of describing these scenes properly, but I tried my best. Overall, the game feels much more complete knowing that rawdawging a naga is just as risky as plapping bunns. It just feels right to go through that process will more of the species.

My plans for August include grinding hard to finish the canine content. Ideally that gets done in August, but it may bleed into September.

Deckbiter Updates

I don't have much to report here, but the art is still flowing smoothly. Artists are now getting the leaders done, and I'm in love with the art I've gotten back so far.

I don't have the bandwidth to work too much on Deckbiter in August, but I'd like to explore more ways to play the game for casual multiplayer enjoyers and also design a more comprehensive singleplayer experience. This'll all be coming later in the year as I get caught up on FFFme.
