Small Update Regarding Patreon Post Advertising

TL;DR: I'm changing the format of which I advertise the Patreon, favouring uploading the 2nd part of each pack each month publicly (i.e. to Twitter, Bluesky, FurAffinity) as part of the advertisement. This does NOT mean I'm going to upload other Patreon artwork publicly!

Hello hello,

I'm just making a quick post to update everyone that I'm changing how I format the social media posts advertising the Patreon packs each month.

Whereas before I would give a small preview of the pack along with the relevant information like this...

...going forward I'm going to try using the 2nd part of each pack as a full preview, with the advertisement looking something like this:

This is to - hopefully! - spark more engagement with non-patrons and give a better sense of what to expect from each pack, as opposed to the limited preview the old advertisements gave.

While this may seem like a minimal change, the reason why I wanted to make this known to all of you is so that you understand my intentions: I have no plans, now or in the future, to make any of the Patreon art publicly available. I truly value everybody's patronage to me, and I want to give all of you exclusive content that is worthy of your support. By making this change to the advertising format, I don't want people to assume that my Patreon artworks will become 'expired' after a set time and be made publicly, as many other artists tend to do. While there is nothing wrong with that particular method, it's not the method I want to use. I want everyone to feel like they're getting their money's worth by supporting me, and exclusive Patreon content is the way I'm trying to make that a reality.

Outside of this there aren't any changes to how the Patreon is functioning for the time being; I just wanted to make everyone aware of this change in case seeing such a drastic change to the advertising format made people start screaming and shouting and letting it all out(ing) 🗣️

(Realistically this doesn't really affect any of you whatsoever, I just felt like I should let everybody know....................... 🚶)
