Sorry for the delay. My son, who literally has decided to speed through his childhood before his 3rd birthday next week, broke his finger and we've just been dealing with the fallout of that as it apparently happened near his growth plate and we just needed to see a specialist and take some precautions so apologies for the radio silence!
I am now aware of the situation going on within the Sims 4 community regarding leaked personal information. While I'm not still completely sure what has happened and who was involved, I know that it is a situation that exhibited behavior that has no place within our community and that has raised some concerns for many in the community about their personal information with regards to Patreon.
Therefore I wanted to make sure that I stated unequivocally that I have never nor would I ever share any personal information with anyone else.
You should know, the information available to me is your email, the name of your Patreon alias, and your discord username if you choose to utilize your discord priveleges and attach them to Patreon.
Ways you can stay safe on the internet, in general:
1. Do not use your full name for your email address
2. Do not use your real name as your username.
I would also take this moment to also say ways you can stay safe within the sims community are to:
3. Do not to subscribe to creators who require you to click on links in personal emails or Patreon DMs for paid content
4. Do not subscribe to creators who have permanent paywalls
5. Do not get content from anywhere but the original creator.
I am so grateful, every day, for all of you who choose to support not only me, but the amazing and talented creators who make up this community and the majority of which who appreciate and respect your support.
