I came back from my trip to Cream's wedding full of energy for drawing and excited to do this piece. I'd been looking at Vanripper (Helltaker)'s art style and I was feeling ready to give it my seriousest bestest big boy shot, and I did, but man... This was hard fuckin' work for me. It looks simple as shit, but man, this didn't come naturally to me at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the result (Even though I can clearly see where I'd damn well had enough), but if I try this again next month I'm using a softer brush for the lines or going sketchy because this drained the life out of me, and the thought of doing it the same way again currently gives me chills.
