2025-08-26 03:05:04 +0000 UTCI've never played ultimate frisbee, but that's not frolf (frisbee golf). Frisbee golf, or disc golf, is literally played like golf. It's a solo sport. You score like golf, you have a hole and a teeing off point, just the same. The courses are also (in some cases 9) 18 holes. There are different discs suited for different throws such are drivers, mid range, and putters. There are different styles of throwing the dics for desired outcomes with each throw you want to achieve. It's actually a really fun and casual activity. As with any hobby, there is a cost to acquire all the tools. Discs can vary in price with many having higher price points based on overall performance. That's standard for most thinfs in life. Definitely something that a family can enjoy together. It's most often free, and many citys have several courses. My city isn't at all a large one, and we have three or four of them. I would definitely recommend watching a short video and see if it's something you'd like to do. It seemed as though you may not know exactly what frisbee golf is, so I wanted to give you an insightful breakdown. I look back fondly at the days as a middle schooler in which I lived just up the road from a course. There was a swimming pool directly next to the course. I had a summer pass for the pool and I would go back and forth frolfing and swimming nearly everyday. I even made a hole in one on a par three using a trick shot once. At that age, I was definitely beside myself.
