I had to look it up but the locusts were more of a representation of a bad omen? Like Lance pulling up to all these communities and taking over. Something like that, there’s no real concrete answer I could find lmaoo.

If negan had saved his son in the same way he’s the type to start to trust him even if he hates him. I think that’s also a driving reason Maggie is even capable of getting to this point of even beginning to forgive or even trust negan. Glen hadn’t even killed a person till the radio tower and he began to trust Tara after the things she did as well. I feel like he was an optimist for peace but understood when he needs to fight and I think he would have chose Maggie choice here.
