I think there was always going to get to an endgame plot like this though, if they wanted to completely wrap TWD. You needed to have the real world or at least the glimpse of the real world come back into play. It’s also fun seeing our characters in these environments as we have never seen it.

The CW arc just...doesn't so it for me and seeing the ones rejecting that reality just feels sm more grounded. I do agree it feels silly and unserious. They've been here a month? And are already trying to expose politic espionage, working for a military, fighting classism... just feels so bleh. Oh and now Eugene's been catfishes lmao 🤣

And it's actually the back of the street where they shot Woodbury 😭 all this money AMC gets and the one thing they'll never do is invest in new sets Sanctuary was the prison set. Reaper base was terminus They use the same woods every chance they get and the same long roads 😭 Part of why I adore seasons 1-3 of Fear TWD is how diverse and vibrant the sets are. They go ALL out in that regard for thos exist 3 seasons.

2025-08-04 15:57:17 +0000 UTCI think for a lot of the people that went to the common wealth from our group are tired of fighting day in and day out for their communities. Not to say what you said doesn’t matter like fighting to built something for themselves is good but they haven’t been as lucky as any other community lol. Like people in this world go through terrible stuff but I feel like our groups went through hardship and having no home for years. Then when they finally settle down they have to fight for it for years after that lol. Then after all the fighting is over they have no food and no resources from all the fighting. After seeing a community like the common wealth that’s sort of like normal life and can provide a life for the kids besides starvation and fighting. Like Daryl chose this community for Judith and her brother.

The ending scene is cool, the scene between Eugene and Lance is pretty fantastic, and the "real" Stephanie reveal at the end is a nice twist, but sort of fell flat watching live, as they had already publicly casted that actress as Stephanie lol. However, the story definitely does get more interesting from here! You have some pretty great episodes coming up!
