Back again and yes, I did say that the commonwealth is only as 'evil' as the US government an military, which are practically hand in hand. Love this episode as a poor guy who sees this shit all the time. Especially with people of color, like Ezekiel, the waiter Magna talked to, as well as Princess and Rosita. Daryl himself is very much used to living in bad conditions, he's been poor his whole life so I love how hard he's committing for his kids (at this point). Commonwealth is the US, just maybe more obvious and less organized because of the lack of extra government members that could help control the ship, like in the US. The government there is smaller so it's easier to fight back against. Can't have eyes everywhere. In that way, it's actually a much more hopeful situation than the current US even. Because there's a more clear way out. Forgot to add that Carol has lived in centers like the apartment Daryl is staying at, with crying babies and a lot of families. She takes Daryl there around season 5 to help him locate Beth. It was a shelter for families who needed to get away from abusive homes and I think that helps her seeing through things here. Abuse also does make you hyper-aware, paranoid sometimes. More observant. And Carol is such a cool and very sensitive portrayal of an abuse survivor and she's badass of course, even when not killing walkers. Love that they played Eat the Rich, it might be too on the nose for certain people but as a advocate myself, yeah. It's also the Walking Dead so 'eat the rich' is very apt actually xD

It's sad because it seems like Ezekiel is giving away his belongings because he knows he doesn't have much longer to be around ππ Oh also Pamela is played by the actress who played Mallory in The Boys!
