To be fair he was becoming more difficult to work with, such as simply sending in his voice overs rather than actually showing up to work with everyone else EVER. It been that way for years, and the other stuff was enough to cut him loose. It's too bad. However, it was probably for the best. He wasn't a creative in the show and therefore, the show never lost its essence. It's similar to S4 of Community. In R&M S7 some people just shut themselves off because they were outraged that Justin was gone, and wouldn't even give it a chance. Some Harmon diehards did the same thing in regards to Community when he was fired for a season. People who experience either show outside of the personal "war" on the show nearly always end up enjoying the show still.

2025-07-13 00:34:28 +0000 UTCThe guy who voiced both rick and morty had pedo allegations against him so they removed him from the show and recast rick and morty voice actors. They are now played by two different people. Morty is the most noticeable but Rick still sounds like himself when he yells he sounds very different from before. Personally I don't like mortys new voice too much but the most recent season is making me like it more.
