What I find is that it's funny that Daryl had a girl Carol for running, Daryl is not a lot different at times separating himself from the group early on, going out into the wilderness. Looking for Rick for years on end, I'm sure he could have done that and still lived in the community

2025-07-08 12:58:17 +0000 UTCThis episode had a lot of little Easter, eggy things like Carol finding about pirates after they talked about going off and being pirates when she was on the boat, and him giving her his knife and then needing it, both feeling a lot of guilt Carol over what she's done, and Daryl knowing that he overreacted because of his guilt with Leah, both are stubborn, and even though Carol let her emotions get the better of her and dead stupid things. It's not like Daryl hasn't done the same, They have both done things that potentially caused people's deaths

2025-07-07 23:06:32 +0000 UTCYeah, that was an episode. It was really the most pointless of all the fillers. HOWEVER. It did give us something we don’t usually see in TWD: that behind the scenes, routine business of just existing and keeping going. There really wasn’t more than that. And yet, somehow in their divergent paths, Carol and Daryl somehow seem to move on a bit from that passionate disagreement from the earlier episode. And AGAIN, please please remember: these 6 filler episodes were COVID episodes, with very restricted filming and production rules given social distancing at the time. Without these episodes, there would’ve been 0 TWD content on from Fall 2020 until almost Fall 2021 - that’s a big reason these episodes exist. Granted, some of them are more powerful and meaningful than others — especially 10C’s ep 6 (or E22). These full episodes would not have existed as they are without COVID, except maybe the final 10C episode you’re about to get to. basically, bits and pieces of these filler episodes would’ve been mixed into regular episodes of the extended final S11. And again, S10 finale was Ep16 where Beta died and the Whisperers”arc ended off a cliff. The next one isn’t a traditional “finale” of a season, it just happened to be the final filler episode before S11 returned in Aug 2021z
