I feel like even though syd is fantastic in many ways she also has flaws that she still hasn't dealt with even to this ep. I feel like carmy should get peace from the restaurant lifestyle but not before making absolutely sure syd is ok and ready to take up the position. Like this feels like to syd that he thrust a shit ton of resposablitly at her the second they got kinda stable which is what carmy is prone to doing.
