i think the most plausible and funniest explanation is mac and charlie just blatantly lied to dee's face about crashing the car and making up an excuse about zombies without considering she could've just witnessed the whole thing

Mac and charlie destroyed Dee's car in season 4, when they drove it into a wall and blew it up with granades, and shot a gun a at.. lol (when they tried to fake their suicide 2. In season 5 when the gang went on a road trip to the grand canyon, everybody went back in the trailer. only charlie sat upfront with the hitchhiker.. and he got the hitchhiker to drop him back at the bar.. the gang fell asleep in the trailer and the hitchhiker stole her car because Charlie just left him alone. 3. in season 6 when she got a new BMW from Bill Panderosa it turned out that he had also given the same car to his mistress (prostitute) and she took it from her thats the times i can remember off the top of my head, and the gang never pays for her car.. they just mock her.. she even tried to prove and make a point that they should pay for her destroyed car in the episode when Dennis and Frank had a "court" scene in the bar to find out who was at fault with the whole Cereal incident.. when Frank crashed into Dennis when he was eating a bowl of cornflakes.. it turned out that Dee supported Dennis to prove that the gang should pay for stuff they destroyed... she always gets F**k'd over.. lol. i love it.. and i think Charlie and Mac knew they messed up her car this episode.. and just decided to lie to her... as they always do. they even joked at the end in the interigation that they never pay for their messups.. lol, I cant remember what happened to her Scooter (Moped/bike) when she lied on her taxes and got audited. love this show so much... Always sunny and Community the greatest comedy shows ever made (together with Seinfeld).. and i really appriciate that you are reacting to both of them at the same time the Mcpoyle episodes is always so funny, iaugh so hard i cry everytime i watch the episode when they get taken hostages by them in the bar.. it gets me everytime, and Liam, Ryan and the sister (Margaret) is so damn disgusting... they freak me out every time i see them, especially Liam and Margaret.. but i cant look away :D i love your reactions to them.. and your faces when Dennis walked in on Liam and Ryan was priceless Pappy Mcpoyle is played by Guillermo del Toro, he is a very well known Director of things like (Hellboy, Pans Labyrint, The Shape of water... and i think he was involved with writing on the Hobbit and Pacific Rim).. he also writes and produces... but mostly Horror stuff except from the things i mentioned
