I think it skipped a minute or two around 06:00. While going down the elevator, Morty discovered that since last epiosde, he was interacting with a fake Rick. The real Rick had replaced himself with a robot (Rickbot) during the events of the previous episode (designed to be 22% more thoughtful than the original). This was real Rick’s response to feeling hurt after Morty called him boring and joined the Knights of the Sun. The real Rick used this time to focus on trackin "Rick Prime", his nemesis.
