Tbf even if it is sexual assault, it's hard to have sympathy for negan considering how he raped women for years in the saviours.

It's hard to hate her but also impossible to support her. Poor Daryl too, he can't even hate her because she's her bestfriend. And he went through similar when Glenn died, he kept making stupid selfish mistakes during the saviours war, but still, rough all around. Before with Carol she would always self sacrifice, remove herself from people she cared for to avoid hurting them in her own grief. But after years she finally found a loving husband, was able to raise a child again. And she had a home. For years. So losing it she's just lost herself all over again and isn't even considering the effect it has on others, she's just not thinking straight at all.

Also Alpha is right, Negan is trying to sew paranoia even if he's right. Makes it easier for him to tear apart the group itself. On another note, that Negan/Alpha scene is probably the most disturbing in the show for me. Even if Negan ended up going through with it, very uncomfortable sexual assault vibes with how upset he seemed leading up. But he's sewing himself into the inner circle so. I do not blame Alpha for finding Negan attractive though, Jeffrey Dean Morgan himself is like a fine wine. I keep coming back to add stuff but I just remembered one of the big reasons they had Connie in that cave-in is because her actress was leaving to do a Marvel movie (eternals maybe?). I don't want to spoil anything but you guys are technically right, the blast didn't hit them and could have just caved in the opening, leaving them stuck but okay.
