2025-06-05 17:42:27 +0000 UTCThe angle of him being indebted to Alpha for saving him is interesting. That one, I think I can understand better. More than just the whisperer ideology alone. Kinda makes me wonder what his experience has been since everything fell. If his first interactions with the whisperers have been all murder and schemes— and that was better than what he had before, he must’ve had it rough.

2025-06-02 15:48:32 +0000 UTCI actually find Dante's ideology to be really interesting and way more involved than the wolves ever were. Alpha is a cult leader and also has Beta by her side, intimidating people into believing what she wants them to is what she does, and she does it well. She saved some people too, like Dante, who feel indebted to her. I really like that we never find out if he was lying about having a family, because it really doesn't matter to Gabriel at this point or even the audience. I also enjoy the humanity portrayed in Dante despite his world view and murder of the older woman then Siddiq. He clearly did not enjoy doing it, which doesn't change much but make him more human. He was also digging a grave in an earlier episode when Siddiq walked up to him, presumably for the older woman he killed but it's a bit odd...hmm

2025-06-02 15:36:05 +0000 UTCI agree with y'all in the end discussion. I like alpha she very interesting even later in the season so its kinda annoying how dumb the ideology is. I don't think it makes sense that primal instincts of humanity is destroy the already working systems in place.
