At this point I think it must be an ancient religious thing. They are creating medicine and new tech from demonic knowledge or powers. At some point they mention the 4 faces or feelings or something and I think each of those Is represented by one of them and it fulfills some type of dark magic.

It would be one of the greatest weapons they could theoretically use against Lumon and her outie would never let that happen.

If she’s not then I can see helly being a problem this season even though her ambitions is understandable people outside are getting violated as well. Ms Casey’s outtie was taken from her “death” and given an everlasting job it’s not fair to either of her personalities but helly doesn’t care for outies at all. This season is finna be amazing lol.
