I always viewed Negans code as very hypocritical tbh. Rules for thee not for me except he deluded himself into thinking he doesn't break his own rules. I mean his wives? That's just rape without physical force, instead he withholds their meds, threatens to kill their loved ones or more just so they agree to sleep with him. He forces them into a scenario where they have to say yes because the other option is to see your loved ones die. His code is very corrupt and just another way for him to justify and excuse himself and delude himself into thinking he's doing what he "has to."

I disagree with the "if we watched Negans pov we'd be on his side." Everything we saw Rick snd co do was to defend themselves and their loved ones. They never enjoyed it or gained pleasure from it. If we follow negan we see him create a slave empire where he rules through fear. He burns ppl faces off, laughs while he kills people, takes photos to hang on his people's walls, enslaved innocent communities, coerced women into having sex with him and sm more. Nothing Negan has done is justifiable or necessary for survival. Every group he has enslaved was open to civil trade. Hilltop and Kingdom were allies, Hilltop and Aldxnadria were friendly, Oceanside was trusting before they met saviours. Negan built a slave empire and the few people who aren't his slaves are usually sadistic raiders. There's no world where you watch him and think "awh what a victim Rick is evil" lol. Rick and Co killed 30 people they knew were bad people in a bad group. And they tried to do it painlessly and quick. No pleasure was gained from any of it unlike with Negan, who was also close to finding Alexandria anyways and he would've killed himself regardless, that's their rule. Find a group, kill someone to traumatise their friends and family and then enslave them all. I think he's more evil than any protag we've seen up until this point, even the governor. The governor at least gave his people a good life before he lost his damn mind. Negan just treats them like dirt and forces them to live in fear everyday. The people in Woodburn had a damn great life lol.

“Tatania”. 😂❤️ It’s “Natania”. Great reaction, you two!

Negan does have a code. He’s just a dick. His personality can sometimes make him seem like he’s pure evil but he’s not. He’d be the hero if we got this story from his perspective. I don’t agree with the society he’s constructed or the way he exploits people but if you think about it, Rick and our people killed like 30+ of his and he only killed 2 of ours. It’s just the way he killed them that makes us forget that. I’m not taking his side but compared to the other antagonists of this show, he’s definitely the least evil. A very complex character

Someone pointed out that the woman that shakes Rick’s hand after they kill the walkers was over acting with her facial expressions she always makes and now I can’t stop looking at her face whenever she’s in a walking dead episode 😂
