After Sasha and Rosita had that talk, Sasha was trying to save her. There are some things you can't come back from. Rick's plans don't always pan out, so they were trying to be proactive. They knew they were on a suicide mission.

She and Daryl were headed towards it as the Saviors were driving through the gates and she said, “We’ll never make it in time.” I agree with you that Rosita and Sasha’s plan is baffling and just seems selfish and suicidal. Sasha said that she memorized everything Carl said about the layout inside of The Sanctuary so she probably does know how to get to “the boudoir”. lol. Still a terrible plan. The first time our group went to the Hilltop with Jesus, Gregory was stabbed and we got into a scuffle. Abraham’s break light necklace broke off. He didn’t notice and left it in the dirt. When she buried him, the only thing Sasha found on him was a cigar. Jesus kept the necklace and he gave it to Sasha to remember Abraham by. Since she and Abraham began falling in love on their mission and saved the day with Daryl and the fuel truck, I can see that necklace being quite special to her, even though it was a gift from Rosita. I think that the guilt and shame that Daryl feels when it comes to Maggie is magnified. It’s threefold. He stopped looking for the Governor and then Herschel was murdered. He lost Beth and then she was murdered. He didn’t listen to Glen when Glen said, “Let’s go home. It’s gonna go wrong out here,” and his outburst in the clearing was the direct cause of Glen’s murder. He will never be able to make it right for Maggie in his mind. Poor Daryl. He feels things so deeply.

2025-01-12 04:28:09 +0000 UTCWhen Maggie had that heart to heart with Daryl about Glenn all I can think about is how close Glenn and Daryl had come, in season 1 Daryl calls Glenn a China-man when they go with T-Dog and Rick to retrieve the guns back in the city and Glenn corrects him and says “I’m Korean” and Daryl tells him “Whatever” fast forward to season 3 when Daryl reunited with Merle and they’re on the road together Daryl decides to head back to the prison and Merle tells him he can’t go with him because he “almost killed that black b****” (Michonne) and “damn near killed the Chinese Kid” (Glenn) , Daryl corrects him and tells him that Glenn is Korean, the fact that Daryl’s growth is so strong in this show, to go from calling Carol a b**** to caring about her deeply, from trying to knife fight Rick to calling him brother, he even gave Judith a nickname and had a heart to heart with Carl about how they both lost their moms, Daryl really has come a long way and I remember being pissed at him after Glenn’s death but then this episode came and I had to accept that Maggie’s right, but I honestly don’t know, just like Gabriel told Spencer “we don’t know, we don’t get to”
