haha I'm catching them more and more in the edits.

You jumped the gun a little bit, Phil. 🙂 “The pointy end is for the dead and the dull end is for the living” is advice given to Morgan from Jesus, several episodes into Season 8. You spoil at least once every episode but it’s cool. Erika doesn’t seem to mind. lol

No worries about the long comment — it was all super helpful! Thank you!!

“You can go, and not go” Carol meant that Morgan can get away from it all but he doesn’t have to leave completely, like he can still stick around and not be bothered. Understanding Morgan is to understand those who deal with PTSD Rick has his moments, the Governor had his moments, Daryl even has his moments, and so does Carol, what the show does a good job of doing is making it so not everyone who is dealing with PTSD is all the same because PTSD is different for so many people, Carl is dealing with PTSD as well, even Enid and Glenn they all are going through something traumatic in their lives, no one in this show is really “Okay” they have their moments and Morgan was just doing a really good job at holding himself together because he didn’t have to go through losing anyone close to him in a while, when Eastman was dying after he was helping Morgan through his mental health Morgan reverted back to his old ways wanting to “Clear” which to Morgan means to kill all that is not meant to be on this earth, he believes his job is to clean up the dead, and he wasn’t going to let anyone get in his way, but Eastman saw right through that bullshit and saw it as Morgan’s way of coping or “dealing” with what he went through, Morgan’s trigger is death, when Benjamin died Morgan didn’t even think about him right away when he was telling Ezekiel about with Richard had done he literally said “Duane” his own sons name because Benjamin’s death triggered that piece of trauma in him. Morgan killed Richard because Richard took someone precious from him, a senseless act, he was right and wrong and Morgan was already triggered so he didn’t see anything right about what he said, only wrong. To answer your question about why no one stopped Morgan and why they trust Morgan is because Gavin (Savior Lieutenant) gave the order for them to stay put, Richard isn’t that close to the king, he bumped heads with him a lot from what he told Daryl in that one episode where he tried to talk Daryl into killing Carol, that’s why he never went to talk to Ezekiel alone about anything, he knew he would never listen to a word he had to say, Morgan hasn’t been there too long but he has been around Ezekiel a lot and he has shown Ezekiel nothing but respect and has even helped him when he literally was just a guest, Ezekiel was Benjamin’s adoptive father after Benjamin and Henry’s Dad died so seeing Morgan teaching the boys how to defend themselves had only made Morgan and Ezekiel closer, almost like close friends, Ezekiel wanted to keep the peace and Morgan never questioned him he gave Ezekiel his all and never doubted him, remember back when Rick came to the kingdom and Rick gave his proposal on what needs to be done about the Saviors? Well remember that Morgan is technically still a guest and is from Alexandria but Ezekiel literally asked Morgan what he thought about Rick’s idea, he didn’t ask Jerry (His Right hand man) didn’t ask Richard (he knew how he felt already) but he immediately asked Morgan as if Morgan was meant to be by his side at the Kingdom, so to Ezekiel if Morgan said Richard did that shit, then Richard definitely did all that shit he said he did lol sorry for the long reply just wanted to help with anything that may be confusing.
