Rick's lack of urgency getting home wasn't really about being overconfident, it was mostly about wanting to stay in the peace with Michonne a bit longer because he knows all that can change in a second.

2024-12-30 17:56:35 +0000 UTCWhen Rick tells Michonne that Glenn saved him and that he couldn’t save him, it bothers Rick a lot because Glenn specifically said to him after Rick asked him why did you stick your neck out for me, Glenn Responded “Call it foolish naive hope, that if I’m ever that far up shit creek, somebody might do the same for me, guess I’m a bigger dumb ass than you” and unfortunately Rick wasn’t able to repay Glenn, if you think back to all the seasons Rick hasn’t had the opportunity to save Glenn, but Glenn has also tried to be self reliant throughout the apocalypse not needing much of anyone just like when he didn’t necessarily want anyone running into the city with him which he says to the group back at Atlanta when the group was stuck in that building, and Jacqui tells them about the sewage system being a possible way to exit the building, Glenn tells Rick he doesn’t want him to come with him and he tells Andrea he doesn’t want her either, he only wanted Morales because he knew Morales didn’t have an ego and would listen to him, he also adds on that he usually did runs alone and the first time he has to bring a group everything goes to shit

2024-12-30 15:23:14 +0000 UTCTo answer your question, yeah I’d tell my group, especially in this situation, with everything going on I don’t see how you can keep a huge secret that may save your groups life if you tell them, the thing is Tara is loyal to Cyndie because she saved her life on multiple occasions so I see why she feels the need to keep it a secret but like I said in this situation with Negan and his hundreds of Saviors it’s life and death and by not telling her group about those guns she was deciding their fate, like Shane said “the right choice is the one that keeps us alive”
