CHRISTMAS HISTORY: Supposedly, in the mid-1800s a German man named Hans Greiner began producing glass ornaments in the shape of fruits and nuts based on traditional Christmas Tree ornaments. He was a descendent of the guy with same name who'd established in the 1500s the 1st glassworks in Germany. This set the stage for glass Christmas πŸŽ„ ornaments as we know them. NOW, HERE EE GO: Clearly, at some unknown point in time, the family changed their name to Gruber. And Hans of the 1980s ended up at a Nakatomi Plaza Xmas Christmas party, clearly believing he was entitled to the glass ornament family fortune kept there... MORE EVIDENCE DIE HARD IS A CHRISTMAS MOVIE. πŸ˜‰
