Had to rejoin Patreon when I saw y'all had gotten this far! Finally Richonne is a thing! I know you said you didn't see this coming, but the writers had been planning for this since they saw the chemistry between their actors in Season 3. And its more or less built up the same way in the comics except it was Andrea instead. Personally, I saw them building to this ever since Season 3 episode 12 when Rick , Michonne and Carl went looking for guns and found Morgan. But I think on rewatches even people who were surprised by this development understood it a bit more. Michonne is beautiful and capable and been one of RIck's biggest confidants and supporters since joining the group, second to Daryl. Always made more sense for Rick to end up with a fighter than someone like Jessie.
