2024-12-29 00:16:15 +0000 UTCGreat reaction, you two! If you’re fans of comedy, you might recognize Dawn from an HBO MAX series called Hello Ladies. Stephen Merchant (co creator with Ricky Gervais of the Office and Extras, etcetera, etcetera) plays a a Brit living in L. A. who’s successful in everything except his love life. Dawn (Christine Woods) plays his whacky best friend who lives in his guesthouse and is also unsuccessful, full stop. lol. It’s a terribly funny series and really showcases the talent of the actor, especially once you’ve seen her portrayal of Dawn. Also, I’ve never heard another reactor use the term “Dutch Angle” in reference to the shots at the end of Coda. I’m very impressed and it lets me know that you’re the real deal. I studied at Tisch at NYU about a million years ago and it’s super refreshing to hear young people like you reference film techniques that a layman wouldn’t be familiar with. Keep up the good work! Thank you.
