2024-09-09 02:21:40 +0000 UTCso originally they intended Ep 8 of each season to be centered around interdimensional cable, but this episode wasn't received as highly as the first one so instead they decide each Episode 8 would just be an "anthology" or vignette type episode with basically a ton of mini-stories. So you'll still see some interdimensional cable sprinkled throughout the series, but there won't be anymore episodes centered around it. But yea, it's just so ridiculous that Justin Roiland basically went into the booth, got a little tipsy (there's videos of him doing it I think) and started improvising and riffing nonsense and they just took the best stuff and animated it. Classic Rick and Morty though. *whispers* Tiny bitsssss
