Tashi loves tennis. She wanted to watch some good fucking tennis as she says lol! I think in the end Patrick knew what would spark Art’s motivation to play so he did the racket signal and Tashi said what she said in the hotel bedroom (“if you don’t win tomorrow I’ll leave you”) for the same reason. This movie is a love triangle but each person loves someone/something more. I think Patrick loved Art, Art loved Tashi, and Tashi loved tennis. Not to say Tashi didn’t love or care for Art at all, but she resented him for the fact she couldn’t play anymore and she was living her dream through him. I lowkey think Patrick didn’t like the way Tashi treated Art (because he was in love with him haha) but he was just Patrick being Patrick and fed into it. Overall, Tashi’s reaction in the end was she was happy to see the energy between them and that she got to see an good tennis match
