an update!
Added 2024-06-23 11:21:47 +0000 UTChey everyone! i hope you're all doing well. i've been on a small vacation in japan, so i imposed a rare "real" break for myself. i'll be back within a handful of days though!
in any case, while on this break i've recently completed the first draft of the prologue and first chapter of the comic project, which is very exciting for me since that means i can finally start sketching the pages out properly soon! my goal was to be a full chapter ahead of where i was when drawing, hence the delay--that staggering means that anything i feel like needs to be touched upon can be easily added in the previous chapter's script.
i do still have to review my drafts and add/remove things, and things will still likely change once i begin drawing for real, but finishing up these first two sections of the script is pretty big as far as taking the first steps go. while my favourite parts of the story are still later on, i think what i have thus far will be able to set a reasonable groundwork for it to come, so please look forward to it!
p.s.: ah...i guess writing while on a "break" is still kind of working lmao.
