summary of art 2023 // original
Added 2023-12-30 00:00:02 +0000 UTCa summary of my original work from this year! i was wondering why i had several blank spots and then remembered i did a lot of commission stuff in those months, so some months were super productive and others weren't. hope to have a more even spread next year though, and to see more improvement! i did a lot of work i was happy with (though several of the pieces don't feature here due to the month-based constraint)

It's cool to see you talk about productivity and how, even though from an outside perspective it may seem like you draw nearly every day, but that's just not the case for most people who make art. Life gets in the way and that's okay. It's just so easy to compare to other artists who post a lot of art without noticing the fact that not every day they post something new. For your case, you post a lot of repeats (which is great), and some days don't even post anything. I guess this is a sort of note to anyone reading (including myself) not to get too bogged down by your own pace and don't try to catch up to anyone else's. Run your own race, and eventually, you'll get to look back and see yourself in the place of the ones you've admired. Happy New Year everyone!
