Mordred (Painting base to Final)
Added 2017-07-14 10:30:07 +0000 UTCThis is the painting base vs. the final! Generally the left is very close to what I start with, and then work over top of that. However, sometimes I will prep the base a bit more with more multiply layers to establish major shadow shapes before I start rendering. Sometimes a few colour/overlay layers can't hurt either, just to prep so that the painting isn't too neutral while working (unless it's what you're aiming for; just make sure it has the most vital information that you need to work with!)
