Moana Full Movie Reaction!

Do you think you could do anything about your guys' audio? Like, the fan noise? A small tune up in editing and setting that for every next video would be fantastic to hear you guys and the movies better! :))

William Burke

This was the film that made me notice him. He is so good with storytelling through the songs, without them you miss so much of the story and characters. They aren't just in there to fill the time or just keep the kids happy. He mastered this even further with Encanto. He also does a great job with capturing that culture, you can tell he spent a lot of time researching to make sure it's accurate, wanting to pay respect to it.

Most of the music and lyrics were written by Lin-Manuel Miranda (who wrote and performed "Hamilton") and he performed on a couple of these too. Which in large part explains why they stick in your head.

Also lol at DC sucks (because it is true) - there obviously is sick stuff out there beneath the actual "acquired taste"... but if you want to see it at its best, I definitely recommend you watch the second (James Gunn) Suicide Squad and, spinning-off of that, the TV show Peacemaker with John Cena. Honestly, it's all so fucking stupid, I doubt you haven't seen it yet - but you definitely will love the eye-winking shitting on certain IPs and genres. or whatever, I'm not your mum

What I really love about this movie is the quote: ''I am Moana of Motonui, YOU (Maui) will board my boat, sail across the sea and restore the heart of Te'Fiti'' And later on it changes to : ''I am Moana of Motonui, I'll board my boat, sail across the sea and restore the heart of Te'Fiti'' She is not relegating the mission to someone else, she is doing it herself. Because what's important is not that Maui has to restore the heart himself; it's that SOMEBODY has to do it.

Almost all those movies consistently milk me for my tears, but Moana somehow is the king, not even being extremely sad or anything; the mostly uplifting intro montage with the right songs just makes me sob like it's nobody's business. Freaking love crying to a good movie, it's so cathartic. Jemaine Clement drop, too - here's a vote for the HBO Flight of the Conchords performance, formerly New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-gangsta-rap-funk-folk comedy duo, as it were. Seriously, an hour of great and fun songs with perfect audience interaction, and there's a weird but hilarious show to go with it if it hooks you. It'll hook you.
