I finally made it to my first Vintage Computer Festival (VCF Southwest 2025), and let’s just say, the rumors are true: you will come home with more retro hardware than you planned, especially if you’re anywhere near a live auction. Oops.
In this video, I’m showing off every piece of classic tech that followed me home, from Macs I definitely needed (again), to a beautiful new SCSI Zip drive, and a trackball you could use as a billiard ball. I’ll share what I picked up, what I (painfully) had to let go, and the stories behind each new addition to my collection.
It’s all for a good cause (my collection and @vcfederation 's scholarship fund, of course)! Come for the vintage gear, stay for the questionable financial decisions and a whole lot of nostalgia.

Pretty cool. I don’t remember ever having a G4 because I didn’t have Mac back then but I definitely recognize the Zip drives we used to have

I owned a few of those removable 44MB zip-drives too, but they where connected to one of my Atari”s , Atari Mega ST4! The best DTP computer with the best software Calamus! Have to print some facts too, this nerdy and this cute… how is it possible?! You just rock!
