Hello and good evening. My name is Akatuki696.

I drew Yamato from the Kantai collection as the second "Fat favorite characters" character.

I myself have not played Kancolle much, but I have loved it since it first appeared in a game, partly because of my love of the Battleship Yamato and Space Battleship Yamato, which were originally models for the character.

The design is reminiscent of armor, and the huge cannons are exquisitely balanced.

The bridge of the ship expresses dignity and greatness as much as any modern ship.

And the huge hull including the characteristic bow, etc....

I think that the Yamato of this ship, which was personified with great design ability using these features, is a truly fascinating character (thank you, Yoshinori Shizuma).

Like Carmilla, I could go on and on about her charms, so I would be happy if you could see the rest of my illustrations and feel how much I love her.

As a side note, this Yamato was probably the most difficult work to draw this year😅.

I wanted to draw her including the outfitting properly at least once"...so I started drawing while referring to plastic model I had on hand and books...but it took me 4 days to finish the line drawing due to the amount of information.

However, I had often drawn Yamato as a doodle since I was a child, so it was fortunate that I had a general sense of the model. It was a good experience for me, even if it was painful to think that my resolution of Yamato was improved this time.
