Late August Updates

Hey everyone,
I hope you're doing well out there.

Just a couple of things, some news - probably not the most ideal, but I figured I'd communicate all the same.

First off, the good.
If you're keeping up to date with my Twitter and all, you'll probably recall that I underwent surgery about a week ago. I'm still healing up but I'm slowly coming off the prescribed medications and while I'm still a bit sore, I feel it'll be gone by around this time next week; fingers crossed.
Thank you to everyone who was supporting me through this time, whether you joined Patreon for that or if you were after the upcoming projects between myself and AyyTee3D - or Memz. There was an old, third project that was mentioned to me that I'm a part of, being Lineage's End with Secazz. I figured I'll update you all on these three projects (and then some!), and this is where the news goes a little south - but not too south. So stay optimistic and please stick with me on this.

Firstly, I'm sure a ton of you are fans of AyyTee's work - and you may be privy to the fact that his computer had to go through repairs and it took a little longer than anticipated, thus putting him behind schedule. Because of this, the upcoming Summer Makoto project hasn't forwarded in progress beyond the WIPs you've seen - understandably so. I completely respect and acknowledge the fact that he needs to prioritise and focus his content for his Patrons before dedicating his time to something like this. I can't give an approximate date of completion but you bet as soon as I get works in progress that I can post, you will too - and there'll be posts on Twitter about it as well; so if you feel you need to drop the support and come back when there's something for you, I get that.

Secondly, the animation featuring a princess during her downtime in collaboration with the talented Memz is also underway, but I also can't give a definitive release date. Like AyyTee, this is something special and while penned, planned and storyboarded by me (along with music and looking into post-work, VO, etc) - Memz also has his own projects to take care of and if you follow him on Twitter; you'll find that his hard drive ran into a major issue and a lot of his files were lost. Thankfully, this project was left unharmed and I might have a new WIP (of the same scene, mind you) to share later today. I'm very excited for it to come to life, as is he - and we hope you are too. Just know these things take some time.

Thirdly, Lineage's End with Secazz. That one's been a looooong time coming, huh. I'm really sorry about the immense delay on this one. The truth be brutally told - it's hard to maintain communication with Secazz at times, through no fault of his or my own but he seems to have a lot going on at once a lot of the time and like any other creator, juggles projects. I have checked his Patreon and noticed he still has plans for it to progress, but I haven't been contacted about anything. I'm not sure about its current status, but I will make an effort to get in touch and figure out where we are with it.

Lastly, you may be familiar with the small but superbly done render set between myself and Karfex, featuring a realistic, Like A Dragon-inspired take on Makoto Niijima. I'm happy to say a second render set is in development and will be heavily inspired by the Summer Makoto project by AyyTee and I. I could share the WIPs if people are interested in checking those out, or I'll be happy to just release them when they're done.

As for future endeavours, there's some things I'd like to get done.
I'd like to pursue another small project featuring Jessica 'Jessie' McCarney from Dead Rising late September to October (maybe in time for Halloween? I think that's a good developmental period...) - as you may be aware with the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster coming out; and Rebecca Chang of Dead Rising 2 fame being one of the major reasons I got into creating 3D content in this space, it's only right I do something there.

I know I mentioned another project in a previous post, and while progress has been made on it, it's slowed to a stop due to events IRL out of my control. Our programmer has gotten real busy...
And I think by mentioning a programmer, you may have a little more of an idea of what this could be.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support.
Stay safe and hope to see you around!
