Development Diary #51
Added 2020-02-21 20:02:14 +0000 UTCHi guys! It's been a while since the last Diary and we though it's time to tell you what we've been working on during this time, our plans, etc.
As we told you, at this moment we're developing the first alpha but we also need to make a lot of tests (characters design, animations tests, color schemes...) but we must say that despite of all this, the pace of development is quite similar to a Space Paws update, so we're quite happy with that.
These are raw numbers, but more or less this is what we have done so far and what we'd need for the first alpha:
Characters: 3 done out of 5 (approx)
Characters Animations: 1 out of 3
Backgrounds: 3 out of 5
H-scenes: 1 out of 2
Story scripts: done, currently under proofreading
Interface elements: nothing so far
Code status: 60%
We've been thinking a lot on the combat. We're trying to create something a bit different from what you could expect in an RPG battle. I assume that many of you like a bit of strategy and combat, but we also assume that this is not the cup of tea of other players. So we're trying to create something both players will enjoy. Maybe we'll make something that works really nice, maybe not. But as it's the first alpha of a new game, this is the correct moment to try new things :)
About what you can expect of this first alpha: this will be a base, a prologue, something that will set the plot for the incoming updates.
Later, you'll be able to choose your own path in a world map. You'll be able to advance through furry nations, go for human ones, or just conquer them all. (mode: all pussies must be destroyed!)
Our tests with the backgrounds, battle, music, dialogue situations are really promising and encouraging. So we can only thank all of you for your support. Because supporting us right now that space paws is finished and there's nothing more to try/play simply means that you believe in us, and it means a lot :)

2020-02-24 14:02:30 +0000 UTCThat sounds like Total War. Well, bypassing the combats would turn the game into more or less just a Visual Novel. I guess that some of you are ok with Visual Novels, but I think many patrons want something more than just text and animations. Well, it will be the first alpha. Let's try new things and we'll wait for your feedback
