Spaceship reworks - (Alison's room & Storage room)
Added 2016-11-23 20:43:50 +0000 UTCWhile we're working on the Erin's H-scene we thought that it would be a good idea to post the last part of the spaceship's rework. The last two are the peeping scene (where you see Alison's room) and the storage room (attached).
In fact, there aren't many new parts in these two (that's the reason why we posted both in one post). In the peeping scene the room has the same aesthetics as your room. Alison will look practically the same way. The only change is her face. In the previous one she looked a bit "scared" for some reason and now she has a more thoughtful expression.
In the storage room, the locations of the objects, the closet...is the same. it simply has the same aesthetics as the rest of the spaceship, now. But we've worked a little bit on the shadows of the objects. We thought that in this case it wasn't necessary a full rework. There're some elements than need more work than these places (story, more H-scenes, more planets...).
Anyway, all these files are attached, including the previous storage room and the previous peeping scene. This way you can compare them and appreciate the (few but important) changes :)

2016-11-27 01:12:57 +0000 UTCSince they've been asleep for a bazillion years, I don't think they've had time to give their rooms that lived in look, and now they have the mission to keep them occupied. I do like Alison's new expressions, and you're right, she did look a bit frightened before. It's good to keep things uniform because that gives the game conformity. In the store room tho, is that a heart pillow? And is it hugging it'a 'bunk mates'??? :D

We actually like the blue/high tech tone, but once they're all in the game and we explore the spaceship with its new look, we'll be able to appreciate more exactly what's right and what's wrong. But I don't know... In our opinion, it would be weird if the whole spaceship had this blue tone and their rooms a different one. If you "google" for some references of spaceships' interiors are some of them blue-ish, others white, others gray... so it's probably a matter of personal tastes. Anyway, we'll probably try a couple of things

2016-11-24 00:45:21 +0000 UTCI like the new facial expression. Given how the story is playing out, it makes sense she would be lost in thought. Great job. Although I feel the older style for the spacecraft was better suited for the rooms. I get that its high tech, but aesthetically it is less pleasing. Thier rooms should be more comfortable looking. You guys had the rooms just right the first time around. Perhaps they could he reworked to incorporate more warm tones.
