Spaceship reworks-Cockpit room (basic colors)
Added 2016-11-15 21:06:20 +0000 UTCAmong other things, these days we've been working on the cockpit room. It looks a bit simple here, but we'll try to explain some details.
As you can see it'll be bigger. This place was too small and we decided to put some big windows in this room (this way you'll be able to appreaciate the hopeless beauty of the space!). Through the windows you'll see the 4 planets and some shining stars. We think it'll look quite good :)
In the middle there's a "table". We'll probably make an animation of a hologram there. Maybe a sprout? Maybe a planet? We're not sure yet. Which idea do you think is better? ;)
The operation panel will be different as well (where you click for going to a planet) and, for obvious reasons, the spaceship external appearance will also change but this maybe will be added on another update. Depending on how long it takes to do the rest.

It's a good idea, despite it would require more work on some new elements and we already have drawn and colored the planets selection screen. We're always trying to optimize the amount of work that a specific element of the game needs always asking ourselves "how many people will appreciate this change?". That's why we're making more H-scenes lol. Besides, it'll have a different use in the future ;)

2016-11-18 13:17:16 +0000 UTCMaybe make it so the central holographic console is where you select which planet to visit now, as opposed to looking out the windows? Gives it more of a vintage sci-fi vibe that way, as well as drawing PC attention to the center of the room more adroitly.

Of course, sprout might work if it was like sprout to tree, or something like that, if motion is a part of what you're thinking; i.e., spinning planet. Over the control panel, maybe you could do some kind of heads up display? Some blinky things on the control panel might look spiffy too. Maybe our robot friend could do some Rodney Dangerfield type humor (no respect[haha]) 8D
