Recently several people have written to me about one of my rules for my tinies: I'm talking about the fact that I never watch where I put my feet and that it's my tinies' job to be careful not to get squashed. Many people think that I'm too strict. Nice people, don't be shocked...there's no other way to live with these scraps. Do you understand that in my house there are always 10 to 40 tinies? If I had to constantly watch where they are, it would take me too long to do many things! And then in my house I can't suffer the stress of having to constantly watch what I do. The same goes for the person who has the job of cleaning the insoles of my shoes. I can't wait every time the insect comes out to put my sandals on. The hard line is the only way: if you're quick and agile you survive, otherwise you die. And then...I repeat it for the hundredth time: they are not people! THEY ARE NOT PEOPLE! They are cockroaches! At most they are objects, but nothing more. Stepping on one is like stepping on a hundred: no remorse, they mean nothing. For every one that dies under my soles I catch three more.
Let me live my life as I see fit: I'm not hurting anyone!
