everyone must participate in the punishment

I think you all can imagine how difficult it would be to tie a slave to your big toe. The solution is actually very simple. It's not me who ties up my slaves, it's other slaves who do it! I think it's very important to do this! For one thing, I save myself the trouble of doing it. Then...it is important that all slaves participate in the punishment of those who have made mistakes. It is very educational and forces everyone to recognize and contribute to my punishments.
Right now these two little slaves are tying another servant to my toe. They make sure the knots are well tied...if they were to give way they would receive the same treatment as him. They are carrying out their task with great skill and without too much empathy: they know well that the man they are looking at will soon be just a deformed piece of minced meat
