My Homebrew Setting: A Look into my own 5e Project
Added 2020-10-04 15:02:53 +0000 UTCBesides designing Battle Maps for your favorite Tabletop RPGs, I'm also working on my own homebrew setting. This is actually my first attempt at doing a world map, and I think it came out fairly decent.
Welcome to Val'era. It's a world that I actually created 20 years ago when I owned a Play By Post Role-playing Game. These days, those are long extinct, but it was where you would write out and Roleplay your characters in 3rd person type of way through use of a forum. Now that I think about, there actually may still be a few out there like that. But anyways, throughout the years I've played around in this world through different means; video games, apps, mobile games, PhP games, etc. As I'm working heavily on D&D 5e type things nowadays, I thought, "how cool would it be to bring my world here?"
So I began working to transport all of my cities, regions, lore, skills, etc. over to a 5e type ruleset and create my own homebrew setting. It's a lot of work, but I figured why not share some of my progress here? This world map is the first visual aspect I can share from my world and I'm very interested in what you all think. I'm also excited to continue sharing other things from my world that I'll be working on in between creating Battle Maps on Patreon.
