Even though K had a higher votes than Sunoo the producers already knew that they are going to do a Japanese group so they choose Sunoo which suits the group more. Bang PD on his speech to K saying even though he’s not chosen but he is going to help him because after a few months later they announced audition for Japanese group and the first members for the Japanese group was K, EJ, Taki and later Nicholas. Kyungmin was supposed to be in the group but decided to go to a different company. Now he debut with 8Turn. K was the oldest of everyone in I-land. The cut off to audition for idol was age 23. This was his last chance literally to become an I-dol. in the beginning I voted for Heeseung, K, Daniel, Sunoo, Jay, Ni-Ki and Sunghoon. And as time went on I would add Jake and Jungwon on the mix. I was late on the last episode to vote. By the time I realized the show was on the voting ended😩. After I-Land they were swift off to record Enhypen and Hi show. They had season 1 and 2 with 4 episodes each. Also, another show to watch is So So Fun. I hope you should react to these two shows as well. Looking forward to it 💕

At the time this showed aired, there was panic voting for Jongwon and everybody assumed that Heeseung would debut so a lot of people chose to vote for people like Jungwon who they were worried about

2025-04-11 21:48:16 +0000 UTCAbout Jungwon being ranked first, I personally think he deserves it, but objectively speaking, I think it was a mix of people freaking out because of his nomination last time when before that it seemed certain he would debut because he was always around the top especially with the producers (who let's be honest would have never let him go), and also I don't know if you skipped that moment BTS gives their feedback, pretty sure it's after their performance at the end of part 1 of your reaction to the finale, but Jungkook says he noticed Jungwon in particular, and that probably helped him a lot too. Like you, I watched I-land after already knowing Enhypen too, but still felt sorry for K. I actually think if I had watched at the time I would have been very disappointed for him.

Sunoo has always been the sunshine of I-land. he is very unique and irreplaceable due to his vocals, cuteness and personality. K is a great performer and dancer, but so are heeseung, niki and jungwon. Sunoo plays a role that nobody else could play better than him.

2025-04-11 19:39:42 +0000 UTCthe absolute CRASH OUT over the host announcing the results so slowly was so real. because why do they need to do that??? there's no need. just get on with it!!!! the scene with all the boys reading their letters from their family had me sobbing so hard. they are all such green flags with how much they love their family. sunghoon especially had me choked up fr. sweet angel couldn't even function.
